In Paris, and later back in Scotland, they are caught up in the political
intrigues preceding the fateful Battle of Culloden. They spend time at
the court of Charles Edward Stuart (Bonnie Prince Charlie) at Holyrood
Castle in Edinburgh before they begin their trek north toward Inverness
and Culloden.
