ESLOctober 5, 2001 ESL is a class where I get to do many things like projects, and a lot of them are creative and you have to use your imagination, besides reading all the books I like and writing. It helps us to learn and learn more English. Writing. I don't like to write because it makes me tired, and sometimes it's very hard for me. Reading is another thing that I do in ESL. Sometimes I like to read when I like the book, or when I like to read the book more and more to see what is going to happen. That's when the book is interesting, like when I'm reading the books of Beverly Cleary. Most of the things we read or we write are bilingual. We are proud to be bilingual, because it's cool to know two languages. Even if I don't know much English. When we work with partners I always like to work with Hilda, because she has a lot of imagination. It's fun to work with your best friend making projects. Sometimes Mrs. Meredith lets us do fun and creative things like when we are celebrating something like El Día de los Muertos. Me and Hilda, my best friend, do some poems for each one of the class and for Mrs. Meredith too. A lot of the things we do, we have to do them with creativity. I don't like it because I'm not very creative. I like ESL, even if I don't like to write or I'm not creative. I still like ESL and it's my favorite class. |
