Kiernan Rose Toibin Davis McAtee came to us 7 weeks and 5 days ahead of her expected arrival date of March 27, 2000. Born at 1:57 a.m. on January 29, 2000, she weighed in at 3 lbs 2 oz. Aftter a few days of expected weight loss (!), she started gaining and growing, and left the neonatal intensive care unit to go home on Fat Tuesday, March 7, 2000, weighing 1 lb 4 oz more than when she began.
