Life on an Irish Farm
Well, it's not exactly a full-blown
farm, but Mark and Emily's three-acre plot in western Ireland
is becoming more of a farm than either of them had imagined when
they started out.
|

After months of searching for the perfect home, Mark and Emily
found this house on 3 acres near Ballymote,... |

...surrounded by quiet lanes,... |

...green fields, and brilliant flowers. |

Rufus approved, and all was calm until... |

...the arrival of Bits... |

...and Bobs, both of whom lack Rufus's maturity and calm demeanor. |

Now they serve as fitness coaches for Emily and Mark,... |

...as one or the other is lucky enough to get to take them for
their daily walk. |

One thing led to another, and then there were ducks, which have
to be kept separate from the dogs,... |

...but at least they don't need to be walked on leashes. |

And along came Red... |

...and his harem... |

...and more chickens and guinea pigs. |

And of course, one can't live in the country in Ireland without
a garden, even when... |

...it takes time away from indoor interests. |

The cows, however, belong to the neighbors for now, at
least. |
